The Rachael Maddow Show reported this morning that Mr. Chavez did not ask for one 25-year term as president, but that he could run for the constitutionally-mandated 6-year terms for up to 25 years. Big difference. They're reporting that the AP got it wrong. It is, as Ms. Maddow said, the difference between Castro and FDR.
Which, according to some people, isn't much. But, in my book, it does.
