And the hits just keep on comin'.

William Arkin over at Early Warning has the real scoop on the domestic spying fiasco and claims (and see if you can believe this) that the Pentagon is actually breaking the law, knows they're breaking the law, and fully intends to keep breaking the law.

At least they're consistent.

At times like these, I remember some words of wisdom from George Carlin.

To wit, "I never believe a word that the government says. Nothing."
